چکیده

Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore the risk factors for Ocular metastasis (OM) Gastric cancer (GC). Methods: This is a retrospective cohort study. A total 1165 patients with GC were enrolled in and divided into OM non-ocular (NOM) groups. Chi-square independent samples t tests used determine whether differences demographic characteristics serological indicators (SI) between two groups significant. In addition, binary logistic regression analyze value various SI as GC. statistical threshold set P < .05. Finally, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis assess diagnostic differentiating occurrence Results: incidence older adults 1.1%. Adenocarcinoma most common type both groups, there no significant difference Low-density lipoprotein (LDL), carbohydrate antigen-724 (CA724), carcinoembryonic antigen levels significantly higher group than NOM group, while those apolipoprotein A1 (ApoA1) lower group. Binary showed that LDL, ApoA1, CA724 ( .001, = .033, .008, respectively). ROC generated area under (AUC) values 0.881, 0.576, 0.906 CA724, respectively. combined highest AUC 0.924 .001). Conclusion: Among SI, have predictive GC, three having value.

A nomogram to predict lymph node metastasis in patients with early gastric cancer

BACKGROUND Lymph node status is crucial to determining treatment for early gastric cancer (EGC). We aim to establish a nomogram to predict the possibility of lymph node metastasis (LNM) in EGC patients. METHODS Medical records of 952 EGC patients with curative resection, from 2002 to 2014, were retrospectively retrieved. Univariate and multivariate analysis were performed to examine risk fact...

Nomogram analysis and external validation to predict the risk of lymph node metastasis in gastric cancer

AIM To identify risk factors for lymph node metastasis using a nomogram for gastric cancer patients to predict lymph node metastasis. RESULTS The Chi-square test and the logistic regression showed that the Boarrmann type, preoperative CA199 level, T stage and N stage by CT scan were independent risk factors. The concordance index (C-index) was 0.786 in the internal validation of the Nomogram ...

Nomogram Incorporating CD44v6 and Clinicopathological Factors to Predict Lymph Node Metastasis for Early Gastric Cancer

BACKGROUND Treatment strategy for early gastric cancer depends on the probability of lymph node metastasis. The aim of this study is to develop a nomogram predicting lymph node metastasis in early gastric cancer using clinicopathological factors and biomarkers. METHODS A literature review was performed to identify biomarkers related to lymph node metastasis in gastric cancer. Seven markers we...
